What’s in the box?


We have filled these boxes with all you need to
provide you with the best tasting experience. Our
boxes contain at least 1kg+ of biltong products.
These products include beef and game biltong as
well as biltong chips, snapsticks, droewors, nuggets
and many more. You will taste four different
products each month and will enjoy plenty of extra
gears. For your first month of subscription, you will
also receive our social Biltong board – the ultimate
biltong lover tool. Tooth picks and fresh pouches are
also added to the box.

Where are the products coming from?


We have been sourcing our biltong only from the
best producers within the South African and
Namibian borders. You will receive a menu every
month informing you on the meat, its origins and
flavourings. All our products are thoroughly sourced
and selected from small to medium sized producers.
At the Biltong Board it is all about the taste.

What’s in the box?

How do I keep my Biltong Fresh?


Biltong is a perishable meat product and should be
stored in a cool, dry place. Do not keep your biltong
in its brown paper wrap or zip lock bags; these are
provided only for packaging and convenience
purposes when on the go. The higher the moisture
content, the more sensitive it is to mould growth.
Therefore, keep your biltong in a space with
adequate airflow. Hang it in your kitchen, keep it in
your refrigerator or eat it all.

Can I freeze my Biltong?


Yes, you can freeze your biltong, but be aware that
freezing will cause tissue damages to the meat and
therefore will affect the taste.
Tip: If your biltong is too wet to your taste, place it in
your fridge for a few hours.

Do you deliver anywhere in South Africa?


We deliver our products everywhere in South Africa.
We keep our pricing policy as transparent as
possible and you will be notified before processing
payment if you are eligible to an extra delivery
charge.

Accepted Payment methods?


You can pay with EFT, Debit Card or Credit Card.

Do you offer any Kosher and hallal boxes?


We do not offer any Kosher or Halaal boxes, YET. We
are constantly improving our offerings and services
to make the Biltong available to all. Keep an eye on
our social media pages and subscribe to our
newsletter,you will be notified as soon as we do.

What are your trading hours?


One of the many perks of us being online is that you
can subscribe and make ppurchases anytime. Our
customer care department (info@biltongboard.com)
is opened monday to friday fron 9.30am to 4pm.

Can I order more than one box?


Not a problem, a lot of our subscribers are families
and one box is not enough to feed all those hungry
mouths. If you order two or more boxes which will
have separate delivery addresses i.e. home and
office, make sure to specify when subscribing.

What is the Biltong Board?


The Biltong Board is the house of South African
biltong, the go to destination of the biltong lovers.
Biltong Board makes delicious biltong accessible to
all! We deliver over 100 + types, satisfying choices
right to your door and add new Biltong every month
so there’s always something to try and discover.
All of our Biltong batches are custom made each
month for our subscribers to ensure frehness and do
not use artificial ingredients, . Your membership
can be changed, paused, or canceled at anytime.

When will I receive my parcel?


All deliveries take place Monday to Friday from 9am
to 5pm. But depending on the product your order
,the delivery time changes.
– Subscriptions
For every trial package and subscriptions. Orders
are taken from the 1st to the 31st of each month.
Deliveries are made on the week of the 10th of the
following months.
– Products and Bulk bitlong
All products and/or once off purchase are delivered
in 3 to 5 working days depending on your location.
Most of the expected delivery time is stated on the
product page of the shop.

How do I update my address?


Updating your address is easy and can be done
online at your convenience by following these steps:
1. Click here to log-in to Biltong Board.
2. Hover over your name and click on Manage
Subscription.
3. Click on the Edit button next to Shipping Address.
4. Select a shipping address from your address
book or enter a new address.
5. Click Submit and your address will be updated.
**We recommend that address changes be made at
least 5 days prior to re-bill date, that way we can
avoid shipping a package to the incorrect address!

Does Biltong Board ship outside SA?


To this stage we only deliver our product and boxes
withtin South Africa, stay tuned on our social media
pages and susbcribe to our Newsletter to be notified
when we do as things are moving quick.

Are you able to Expedite a parcel?


Unfortunately, we do not offer expedited shipping at
this time. Nonetheless we do our best get your
product(s) to you as fast as we can. Please contact
our support team for any specific requirements.

Do I need to sign when receiving my parcel?


Yes, at the Biltong Board we only work with POD
(Proof Of Delivery) for this reason, we recommend
you to pecify an address where you know someone
will be there to receive the parcel (i.e:Work Address)

This is a present and I need the parcel to be
there on the D-day!


For gifting, we offer gift card options. Gift cards are
a great way to ensure that your loved one receive
his present on the D-day but also remain flexible in
the choice of the product. A gift card incorporate a
voucher number to which is attributed a trading
value. This number is used by the receiver and
redeemed by this one online to release his present.
-The E-gift card.
E-gift are generated online and sent to the buyer via
email. You can then print it and physically give it to
your loved one or send it directly via email to this
one.
The Gift Card.
– Gift card work the same way as E gift card but are
actual physical cards that The Biltong Board send
on your behalf. These cards are beautifully printed
and customised with a message of your choice.

When do I get billed?


For subscriptions/debit orders, you will get billed on
the first of each month.
For once off orders you get billed when placing your
order.

Frequency of billing?


We currently only offer monthly subscription
therefore, you will get billed once a month

What type of payement dot you accept?


We accpet EFT, Debit and credit card transactions.

Can I refuse/return My Biltong Board Box?


Unfortunately, for food safety reasons, we don’t
accept returns on boxes that have already been sent
out.

How do I cancel subscription?


We are happy to help you with any account updates.
Our support department is available to Monday-Friday
from 9:30AM-4:00PM.
Cancellation should only be done via email and possible only after 3 months (3 deliveries). cancellation@biltongboard.com

I cancelled my subscription but just received
a box, what happened?


This is most likely your last shipment. We do require
that cancellations take place 5 working days before
you billing date (1st of each month). If the account
was cancelled after the billing date, a box may have
already processed.
Unfortunately, for food safety reasons, we don’t
accept returns on boxes that have already been
sent out.
To confirm that this will be your last box you can log
into your account to make sure that it is cancelled.

I receive a Gift Card, how do I use/redeem it?


Your gift card can be applied towards any of our
products and subscription. Depending on the Value
of the gift card and your choice you might have to
make an extra payment.
To use your gift card:
1. simply choose the product that you would like to
purchase with it.
2. Add the item to your card
3: Click on view cardt in the top right corner
4: type in your coupon’s code in the “coupon
discount” section
5:Click on checkout and follow the step by step
process.

How do I purchase a gift card?


To purchase a gift card you must follow the following
steps:
1: Click on “gift card” in the header of the page
2: Choose the value of the Gift cardyou wish to offer.
The value options start at R150 for our cheapest
product all the way to R2100 the 6 months
subscription package.
3: Pick the design of the card that you wish to send.
4: Type in your message
5 : choose between a E-gift card and Gift Card.
6: Checkout and process payment.

Are gift card refundable?


Unfortunately,we do not refund gift cards

I am a company owner and would like to
have biltong available for my employees?


We offer special packages for offices. We can
supply you with a display unit that would get refill on
a regular basis. The cost and number of units
supplied can be defined by yourself or billed
monthy according to the number of units consumed.

I work in an office space and I would love to
start selling biltong to my collegues?


We offer to office workers the opportunity to become
independent representative for The Biltong Board.
This way, they can earn an extra income in taking
repsonsability for the selling and supplying of the
Biltong within the office.
